SJVTC students earn HOSA awards 2018
Mrs. Marie May Chasse’s Health Occupation students from the St. John Valley Technology Center won 22 medals at the 42nd Annual Maine State Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) competition on May 4, 2018.
The St. John Valley was well represented by mature and hard-working young adults. In the HOSA Bowl team competitions: Alexis Lovely, Alyssa Raymond, Vincent Gillette, Sylvie Guimond won Bronze Medals. In the First Aid CPR team: Austin Dechaine & Mikayla Bourgoin won a Gold medal, and Team 2 Lindsey Daigle & Jasmin Dube & Team 3: Makayla Voisine & Lydia Dionne tied for Silver.
In the Nursing Assistant Competition: Sylvie Guimond won Gold Medal, Makayla Voisine won Silver, and Lexi Lovley won Bronze. In the Job Seeking Skills Competition: Lindsey Daigle won Gold Medal, Lydia Dionne & Alyssa Belanger tied for a Silver medal. In the Medical Terminology competition Vincent Gillette & Alyssa Raymond tied for a Gold Medal, and Jasmin Dube won Silver. In the Home Health Aide Competition: Austin Dechaine won a Gold medal, and Alyssa Belanger & Mikayla Bourgoin tied for Silver. Congratulations!
