At the St. John Valley Technology Center, our unique hands-on programs are oriented towards uniform national standards that prepare our students for academic success and qualified career placement. Our contextual approach to learning reinforces academics previously learned, helping many students truly understand these concepts for the first time. Students in our programs are challenged to think critically, problem solve, create, research, and apply concepts to new settings. In addition, students receive training in safety habits, customer service, small business management, career exploration and job acquisition.
